How compliance shows up in daily operations
Operating authority
Charter-party carriers in California operate under authority issued by the CPUC. Our TCP number, 30133A, identifies the carrier actually responsible for the vehicle and the driver. Brokers and marketplaces that resell trips do not hold operating responsibility for the vehicle that arrives. When a school district, corporate procurement team or venue asks who is operating, the answer is the same company you booked with.
Vehicle inspections and maintenance
Passenger vehicles are maintained on a preventative schedule covering brakes, tires, steering, suspension, lighting, doors and emergency equipment, in addition to the CHP inspection programs applicable to commercial passenger carriers. Drivers complete pre-trip inspections before each movement and report defects to dispatch; a vehicle with an open safety defect does not go into service.
Driver qualifications
Drivers hold the commercial license class and passenger endorsement appropriate to the vehicle they operate, participate in required medical certification and drug-and-alcohol testing programs, and are subject to hours-of-service rules that govern driving and duty time. For SPAB work, drivers must additionally hold the certification California requires for School Pupil Activity Bus transportation.
Dispatch coordination
Large movements have a dispatch contact for the duration of the event. That matters most when a flight lands late, a program runs long, or a venue changes a load zone mid-event: the decision about whether to hold a vehicle, re-sequence a loop or send a second bus gets made by someone with visibility on every vehicle assigned to the job.
Insurance
We carry $5 million in commercial liability coverage. Corporate clients, schools and venues frequently require a certificate of insurance naming them as an additional insured; send the requirements with your quote request and we will address them before travel day.
